Movies I'll Watch Out for this 2012


Do you love movies?  If so, then maybe you already have a list of movies you'll watch this year. I've several of them in mind and I've listed them down. 
This year, I am curious to see how Kirsten Stewart does justice to her role in Snow White veering away from her sweet teen role as Bella in Twilight.  And oh, Twilight - exciting and sad at the same time to know this is the last.  I hope it's as bittersweet as the last Harry Potter movie.

JANUARY 2012

UNDERWORLD Awakening
In theaters January 20, 2012
Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.











MARCH 2012

THE HUNGER GAMES
In theaters March 23, 2012
Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year old from a poor territory that was once Appalachia, becomes a gladiator in a reality-show that is a battle to the death against other teens from the 12 districts of the former United States.















MAY 2012

THE AVENGERS
In Theaters May 4, 2012
The Avengers will bring together the super hero team of Marvel Comics characters for the first time ever, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk and more, as they are forced to band together to battle the biggest foe they’ve ever faced.













MEN IN BLACK III
In Theaters May 25, 2012
The MIB duo of Agent Jay (Will Smith) and Agent Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) are back in action. When the world is threatened by an evil alien, Agent Jay travels back in time to 1969, where he teams up with the younger Agent Kay to stop an evil villain named Boris (Jemaine Clement) from destroying the world in the future. Emma Thompson will play take-charge MIB operative Agent Oh, who is monitoring a prison breakout. 











JUNE 2012

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN
In Theaters June 1, 2012
Snow White, a princess, escapes her evil stepmother with the help of a huntsman who was supposed to kill her but instead trains the princess to fight back.














JULY 2012

THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN
In theaters July 3, 2012
Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is going back to high school when the next "Spider-Man" hits theaters in the summer of 2012. The film will focus on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises.









ICE AGE CONTINENTAL DRIFT
In Theaters July 13, 2012
The 4th installment of the "Ice Age" franchise sees Manny, Sid, Diego, Ellie and Scrat frozen solid and accidentally defrosted in a museum in present day.











THE DARK KNIGHT

In theaters July 20, 2012
Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, Batman faces challenges from the brutal Bane and the stealthy Catwoman.














AUGUST 2012

THE BOURNE LEGACY
In theaters August 3, 2012
Fourth installment of the Bourne franchise based on an original story. As writer/director Tony Gilroy explains, "This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel. No one’s replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter…this is a stand-alone project." Jason Bourne will not be featured in the film; Jeremy Renner will play another assassin trained in the same program as Bourne.
