Still the Best of Friends

Today I took a leave from the madness called W.O.R.K. It's been a while since I had the chance to just chill and talk with the husband. You know, as in really talk, not just say our hi's and hello's during the day or send our usual text messages. How long has it been? Days? Weeks? I really don't know. But today was a good day. We reconnected.

It's amazing how we get through each day just talking about casual stuff and sometimes I feel like we have grown apart in some ways. But when we get the chance to reconnect, it dawns on me...we are still the best of friends...
