Steve Jobs Resigns. Tim Cook as New CEO of Apple, Inc.

Steve Jobs Resigns as CEO of Apple, Inc.

Today, the man who changed the way we use our mobile phones has resigned from his post as CEO of Apple, Inc.  Steve Jobs, 56 has been battling with his health for quite some time now and has reportedly written on his resignation letter: "I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know, to the Apple board of directors and the Apple community."

According to the Apple Board of Directors, Jobs handed his resignation Wednesday and has recommended Tim Cook as Apple's new CEO.  Jobs further adds: "I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee."  This the board granted.

This announcement will likely be marked as the end of one of the most extraordinary careers in the U.S. business history.  Steve Jobs has clearly played a central role in reshaping the mobile phone business.  It is to be remembered that Jobs co-founded Apple and the computer industry along with it.

STRAIGHT TALK: Let's Talk at Half the Cost!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

With the proliferation of advanced technology, I doubt there is a person in this planet who does not own a mobile phone.  It has become a necessity as a means of communication.  Gone were the days of confusing meet ups between friends and business partners..  Even meetings are now done thru mobile phones getting rid of expensive travel expenses.

Telecommunication companies have ridden this high demand and have created countless creative plans and the consumers took this hook, line and sinker !  What they don't realize is that they may be paying for more than what is necessary.  This led me to research about the best plans that can save you money on your mobile plan subscription.

Majority of us use a contract with our telecommunication company of choice and this has been convenient for us to use for work or talk to a family and even to call a friend.  But what we don't realize is that there is a company that offers you a better way while minimizing your cost.  Straight Talk is the best way around.

Imagine cutting your phone bill in HALF!  You can use that savings for urgent needs like groceries or your child's education!  What I love most about Straight Talk is that you don't really need an expensive contract, they give you everything you need, at half the price!  All of that with great reception and trusted mobile phone brands, what more can you ask for?

Imagine paying only $45 for unlimited texts, calls, picture messaging and web!  If that's not enough of a deal for you, then I don't know what is!  They also have the $499.00 for the whole year unlimited plan! Wow!  What's more is that there are no activation, reactivation, or termination fees with Straight Talk! How cool is that?
