20 Random Facts About Me

I found this old post from my other blog and I thought I would like to do something like it here as well. So here goes, 20 Facts about me.

1. My complete first name is Niniveh Nyree. The first part, Niniveh, was taken from the Bible and it is spelled there as Nineveh. I don't really know why mom chose that name. :) Nyree , according to my mom was a name of a popular actress that she liked. I have no idea who she is hehehe ;).

2. I like eating any pasta with white sauce.

3. I am addicted to Lucky Me Pancit Canton and I like it with vinegar.

4. I am happily married to the man that God made for me and

5. Our wedding was moved thrice!

6. When I was in college, I joined the Ms. Campus Hearthrob contest as sort of like an initiation to the org that I was joining.

7. Don't have a baby yet but am wanting to have one na. Problem is I have endometrioma on my right ovary, a small myoma and a retroverted uterus. I guess it would take a miracle for me to get pregnant. :)

8. I am saved by Jesus.

9. I'm not much of a TV buff. I'd rather read but

10. I am a F.R.I.E.N.D.S addict. I have a complete collection of the 10 seasons. I still watch the cd's I have until now.

11. I am an introvert. Very shy that people think I'm "suplada" but I'm not. :)

12. I am very very irritated when people touch my stuff without telling me about it until later, specially if they don't put it back. I mean, I am willing to lend my stuff but for goodness sake please tell me first and put it back where you found it! :)

13. My mom tells me I scatter my things a lot. When I was still single, my room was a mess BUT I know where my things are, so when I don't find it where I originally placed it I go berserck! Now that I'm married, our room is..well..not spotless clean but organized hehehe!

14. I haven't travelled outside the Philippines and it is my dream to travel outside our country. I love travelling a lot!

15. When travelling I am usually quiet. I just look out the window and take in all the scenery. Even if I'm just commuting to work or going someplace in the city, I love looking out the window.

16. My friend, Joyce, says I am a chameleon. I unconsciously copy the way people i talk with talk, including gestures and facial expressions. Is this a bad thing?? :)

17. I hate, hate, hate cockroaches and I am deathly afraid of them, specially the flying ones. Ugh!

18. My friends say I am boyish cause I don't really dress to impress or do make up. I don't know, for the life of me kahit na anong gusto ko maging kikay hindi talaga e. I prefer wearing jeans and shirt with matching sneakers pa. Never ko talaga nakahiligang mag skirt - not that I'm saying it's bad. It's just not me. :) In fact, gusto ko nga nakakakita ng mga kikay kasi naiinggit ako sakanila kasi natural na natural sakanila maging girly. :) Nagskirt lang ata ako nung wedding namin, gown pa yon at hindi skirt o diba? :)

19. I procrastinate a lot. Tsk tsk tsk. Baaad.

20. I'm part Chinese but I don't look chinese. Mas napagkakamalang chinese si hubby kasi singkit mata nya hehehe! :)

Dreaming of Miami Beach

Speaking of moving houses, can I be allowed to dream for a bit?

I have always loved living in a place where there's sun, sun and sun and everytime I think of sun, I think of Miami Beach. I would love a place near the beach, while still living a city lifestyle. So I am thinking of condo near the beach. Ain't that fun? I've actually looked in the net and found Apogee Condo Miami Beach. You should see their plans! Luxury in the heart of Miami Beach! Wow! Maybe someday if I continue to dream, I would be able to live there.

But enough dreaming for now. I need to get back to earth.

The First Move

I know I've been always saying that we'll be moving out of this house soon. And everytime, something happens to change that decision. Well, not mine. If it were me, we would've been long gone and living on our own. Well, I hope this time it's for real. After a very serious incident last week, the husband finally put his foot down and decided that we will be leaving soon. Now, if only I could find an affordable apartment near the office.

Not Done

Gaaah. I am not done with half of my assignments and I only have like hours to do them. I guess I would have to let go of some of them sigh. Time management Nyree! Darn Piolo! He was so hot in that movie I couldn't help but watch hahaha! My husband was supportive as ever that he watched the movie with me. lol! Nuninuninu. My brain is about to explode from thinking.

VoiP anyone?

With the rising cost of telecommunication these days, companies are looking into more creative ways of doing business over the phone. One such technology today is the VoIP phone systems. It is a web based voice service technology that can change the lives of business people around the globe.

Imagine being able to call anywhere around the world at a fixed rate. This spells savings for a lot of companies! BPO companies and contact centers can really benefit from this technology but I guess they would have to work around how to generate call statistics for the agents.

I look forward to see this technology at work.

Manic Monday?

It's Monday again. Day started nicely and I hope it will continue until tonight. I have tons of stuff on my tasklist and I am up and ready to finish them all.

The husband was accepted at that job he was applying for so whoopeeedoo! I am feeling much better after my bout with dysmhenorhea (sp?) during the weekend. I had fun watching Piolo and Juday on Cinema One last night (Piolo is HOT!) so this week looks pretty promising. I miss my camera though. I haven't really gotten around to using it sigh.

Miami Heat Tickets

Talk about getting frustrated. My cousin just called from the US and was venting about having a hrad time booking tickets to watching his favorite team. I could just imagine him doing his tantrums lol! I just laughed at him and told him to relax and try getting his Miami Heat tickets with Premium Seats USA. They have a wide range of choices for sports tickets, to concerts and everything else you could think of. My cousin has always been a basketball fan and will always be lol! I just wish I could be there to watch with him. I truly miss that cousin of mine.

Crazy

Lately I am just feeling so frustrated. From what I honestly don't know. I can't seem to put my finger on it. I just feel frustrated. Maybe this is PMS? I don't know. Have you ever felt this way? Am I going crazy or what?! I don't feel like doing anything but sleep. But when I sleep I feel like I am missing so many things. Sigh.

Disney World

My nephew is dreams of going to Disney World. He just loves the disney characters and would watch them all day! Well, well, well, his dream is coming true sooner than he thought! Their entire family is moving to Orlando soon so his dreams will become reality! Not only will he get to Disney World but he could also go to other Orlando Theme Parks! Oh I am so sure he will have a blast! I told my cousin to check on discount Disney World tickets so he would be able to save a couple of bucks and be able to bring his family to a lot of theme parks! They are all giddy with excitement!

The Gift of a Rose

I received a rose from my friend Farah. Thanks girl!

Roses are my favorite flowers. I love how they get more beautiful as they go into full bloom. Even when they start to wilt and die, they still maintain that elegance and grace. I wish my life would be like that. I wish I would become more gracious as I grow older. :)

Busy Day

I would like to thank everyone who left messages and comments. Thank you so much and I am so sorry for not being able to update. I also received a couple of tags and my apologies again for not being able to do them right away. Life just got in the way. So I am actually planning to do these tags today and try my hand on digiscrapping again. It's been sooo long. Add to that I have a couple of pictures to edit and post as well. This is going to be one busy day.

Las Vegas Vacations

What the husband and I really really need right now is a vacation. As in. Stress and pressure have been piling up so fast that I feel like we will both burst at each other any moment now. Sigh. Life. My aunt is suggesting we visit her in Las Vegas and she'll make sure she checks on Las Vegas vacations we could never forget. The thought got me really excited as I remember looking into these places while I was still working as a travel agent for Expedia. Ceasars Palace, Flamingo and Wynn Las Vegas. I can just imagine all the lights and the excitement! And although I don't really play in a casino, I would really do try to get into one of those fabulous casinos in Las Vegas. Don't get me started on the shows as I might book a flight right away. hahaha! Oh well, the hubby and I need to talk about this soon.

Short Post about the General Santos Trip

I wish I could tell you wonderful stories about my trip to General Santos City...but I was bored to death. I mean the city was really nice and I wish we had time to go around the city more. But alas, we had relatives to go to, chika chika in their house and all. Not that I mind, It's just that I know there are places in General Santos we could've visited. But the food was wonderful as usual! My aunts and uncles prepared such a great feast and took really good care of my mom and I. Thanks guys!

Hello!

Hello! It's been so long. :) Finally the audit's done and I can take a break from all the office work. It is crazy in the office right now. There are a lot of changes in the company and my head is reeling from thinking about them. But anyway, I am back. I have a couple of stories to tell and assignments to finish. It's going to be a busy busy day. :)

Upside Down but not in Shambles...

My life is topsy turvy right now. We have an upcoming client audit and I am making another move. It's a good move though. So I will be back to regular programming soon. There is so much to tell!
