It's Summer!!

I decided to give my blog a splash of bright colors to officially usher in the summer season. It's summer and my mind is filled with all sorts of summery stuff. Deep blue waters, sun shining high, bright sky with pristine white clouds and the pure bliss of lying on the sand - far from all the hustle and bustle of city life. Ahh..the beach! Take me to the beach! Anyway, I hope you like the summer look. Credits on my sidebar.

Itching to Travel

I am itching to travel. Go someplace. It really doesn't matter where. I just want to be in a different place, see new sights, gain new experience. I don't really know what's holding me back. It's a good thing my mom has a wedding to attend to in General Santos come May. So I am tagging along. It's going to be a welcome break from all these stressful weeks ahead.

The wierdest thing is, even though I am itching to leave and go someplace, I treasure these times at home with the husbo. He just resigned from work as he is trying to find his niche (long story which I really don't want to get into) and he has been wonderful (as always). We had a really good talk a couple of weeks back and it made a huge difference in the path we were supposed to take. Having him here at home gives me strength you know. Seeing him, feeling him close, being able to talk to him is something I really cherish. I am going to miss him when he gets back to work.

A Special Something for A Special Woman

Mama's birthday is coming up and I really don't know what to give such a perfect woman. I want it to be very special. Something she will really treasure. But knowing her, she treasures anything coming from her children. Even our text messages, albeit forwarded, is written down complete with time and date stamp.

I am thinking of a dinner with all of us there and maybe present her with a dozen roses. Maybe reserve a hotel suite for all of us to spend the night and then fill it with red roses just for her. Hmm maybe that would work. I can just imagine. Me and Mama would probably stay up all night chatting whilst drinking coffee. Gosh I miss her. I haven't really been around that much. Sigh.

Yeah, maybe that could be it. A special night for a very special woman. I did search for companies that sell wholesale roses and I found FiftyFlowers.com. They don't just sell roses though. They have a wide variety of flowers to choose from and they offer a great deal too! I just wish I knew about them when I was planning for my wedding but that's okay. I am sure my mom will love their flowers anyway.

Yes me and hubby bought a Wii Sports console last week and I've been on it whenever I have free time. My favorite? Boxing! Pag nagsasawa na ako kay Shaun T. ito ang ginagawa ko. Tagaktak ang pawis ko promise! :)

Poles Apart

I truly cherish the weekends when I can just laze around and not think about work. This particular weekend, since I was soo itching to leave the house and go somewhere, me and the husband woke up early and hauled our lazy bums to UP Diliman to practice. We had fun and I realized we finally found something fun to do together - photography.

Don't get me wrong, we do enjoy doing other things together like eating or watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S on DVD over and over and over (lol!), but when it comes to other stuff, we are poles apart, I tell you! We don't like the same music, we don't like the same movies, or foods. And I guess, in one way or another, it's healthy as you both retain some individuality. Still, it is kind of fun to have a hobby that we both like.

Now the only problem is, after taking pictures, we are glued to our own laptops - editing. I wish someone could talk a snapshot of us - one queen sized bed, 2 laptops, 2 people using it, both serious and not talking. lol! How crazy are we?

Clearing the Cobwebs

Well hello! That's me clearing up some cobwebs on this blog. It's been a while.

Again, I was caught up with work. I can't seem to find a balance. I don't know if it's working nights or it's just me being lazy me. I really can't put my finger on it. Anyway, work was l.o.a.d.e.d this week and I am so wanting to hit the beach and leave everything behind - even for just a few days. I don't think that's possible anytime soon but we'll see. :)

So what else happened this week? Well the husband finally got his own baby - well he didn't sire one with another woman if that's what you're thinking, he got himself his own Rebel! He has been salivating for his own dSLR for some time and when our dear friend, Rache put up her baby for sale, we snagged it - 10 minutes before someone else placed their bid lol! Anyway, he's been pressing that shutter button and could not stop! lol!

I've also put up another blog. I know, I know, I can't even keep up with this one but while this blog is about anything under the sun, that new blog will all be about my photographs. Try and visit me there too, okay? That's it for now. I'll visit your blogs after I get a few more hours of shut eye, I promise. Cheerios!

One of Those Days

It's one of those dang days when I feel like the universe is conspiring against me. I know it doesn't really make any sense but I really do feel that way. I feel like nothing is going right in my life and I am not where I want to be; The dreams I have seem gazillion miles away and so impossible to reach. Sigh! I hope I am just having PMS but another part of me is hoping this is a small chunk of something else.
