Ok, I just had to post this. Last night, I dreamt I was holding our baby. It felt sooo real that I was all giddy and happy (and I've been relieveing the dream over and over) ever since I woke up. hehehe! Talk about being mababaw!
Well, it was sort of funny and wierd though. I totally forgot what I was dreaming of before that but the baby dream is still fresh in my mind 'til now. The dream started with me holding my baby. My mom was there and I was asking her if our baby got her (yes, our baby in my dream is a she :-) ) cheeks from hubby and my mom said yes. Change scene, I was changing our baby's clothes and was so happy to have a lot of girly baby clothes to choose from. After that I fed her daw and she looked so angelic, smiling and all while drinking her milk. After feeding her, I was rocking her daw to sleep and I was so so happy daw just looking at her sleeping and then my mom was there again, I was asking her how I gave birth, (apparently, in my dream, it was just a day after I gave birth) because I have no recollection of giving birth whatsoever. I knew I was pregnant daw but I didn't know how I gave birth and my mom told me that I was asleep when I went into labor and they had to rush me to the hospital, and then I woke up.
The dream felt so real that I was looking for our baby as soon as my eyes opened.. Good thing hubby left for work already or else he would've thought I was going crazy! hehehe!
I want a baby, but we're not obsessing about it. i mean, if God thinks we're ready for a baby, I know He will give us one. That has always been our prayer, that His will be done. Right now, me and hubby are just enjoying each others company. :)
But having that dream made me feel all giddy inside...I still feel like I'm on cloud nine (I am one big wierdo! hehehe!)

I GOT THE JOB!!!!
I was so anxoius the whole week! I mean when I left their office two weeks ago, they told me they were gonna call me for a final interview, but just sort of a job offer thing I guess. But when they didn't call, I was so disheartened. i felt so sad. All week my friend B (wose husband was working there as a Technical Director) kept on texting me about how the Chairman, Mike Barnett, was so impressed with me daw, and that I was a definite "in". But of course, that did little in uplifting my mood. It's not that I don't trust my friend, it's just that I would want to hear it from the HR staff themselves.
Ok, a little side kuento, Mike, the chairman asked me a couple of questions during the interview. It was so fast nga e, the interview lasted only for like 10 minutes or so. After I answered one of his questions, he suddenly turns to the Operations Manager and says, "You know what, of all the people I've talke to this morning, she has the nicest accent and voice! She speaks well! She sounds like a white chick man!" I blushed! I honestly didn't know if it was a compliment or something. Having watched "White Chicks", I don't know if he meant I sounded like a real american, or I sounded like the Wayans brothers when they paraded as white girls...hehehe!
Ayun, I just sort of searched na nga for another job, but lo and behold, yesterday, my friend B sent me an sms telling me to free my line cause J was calling daw but the line was busy ( I was busy blogging hehehe) So, J told me that opening was moved to March 14 (We were supposed to start Feb 21 daw) because the glass doors weren't delivered yet and they could not install the PC's kasi baka daw manakaw. So there, it's a definite go! :) I will report on March 14! B texted me again and told me that J showed her my would-be office! Nice nice daw and computer na lang and lacking. And she also quoted J as saying: "This would be Nyree's office, she will be having a bird's eye view of the agents." hehehe! me so excited! teehee! Oh and J also told me that we would be training the first batch of agents! A deginite plus! I always admired our trainers and hope that I could do what they do and be able to help the new agents.
Okay, some more side kuento, the company that I applied for was a new call center, it's a start up company pa lang so small pa. Modesty aside, I've had several offers from top call centers naman, but I have several reasons why I chose this company. 1. Despite the risks, I chose this company because I can see a lot of area for growth. Shempre, since start up nga, I will be one of the pioneers and would also grow with the company. I'm tired na rin kasi of hopping from one call center to another. :-( 2. During the interviews, I got the chance to know the owners of the company more, and I could see that the owners, as well as the operations manager, have the heart for their agents. They believe in starting small so that they would really be able to take care of their employees. They want to have 100% employee retention - a good foundation If you ask me. Of the 3 call centers I've worked for, (2 of them, really big call centers with more than a thousand seats) they care little for their employees. Yeah, they have benefits and big pays and stuff, but really listening to their employee's needs? Good luck! and of course the big possibility of being sent abroad for training is a definite plus! hehehe!
Well, 2 more weeks of bumming around and being a "temporary housewife" (Hubby loves calling me this! hehehe), at least I get to complete the requirements that they need from me. And, I need to get a passport! I can't use my old one na daw cause sobrang tagal na nun! I was like 10 years old when I got it so I have to apply for a new one. Hmm...I'd have to ask hubby to get a passport too! (Can you believe this we don't have passports! hehehe!) Anyway, I plan to surprise him din kasi with a trip to hongkong or singapore for our 1st Anniversary and second honeymoon (I hope he's not reading this hehehe!) Sorry for being ignorant, pero we don't need visas naman in these countries diba?
Whee finally able to upload pics!
Yipee! I am now able to upload pics from our digicam to our computer! Well, we had to reformat our PC though. But that's okay, now it's easier cause we don't have to install any software. Here are some samples :

That there is our (Hubby and mine =) ) inaanak Emman. He's 11 months old. I just love this little guy so much! He's always smiling and laughing! That's why I love taking pictures of him! He's so cute kasi and he has the same hairstyle as our shih tzu's hehehe! His mom has not had his hair cut yet, she's waiting until he turns 1 (which is on wednesday, March 2 =)) He's a swell little guy, but do you know what happens when he's pissed off??? Well, this little guy turns into this:

NO RESPECT!
Okay, I went back to the previous call center I worked for (the one who wouldn't allow me to take a leave of absence a day before my wedding hmph!) to undergo their clearance process. Guess what they did?! They cleaned out my locker without notifying me!!! I mean, okay, the lockers are company property, I get that, but what about my stuff inside?! My headset was also there. What if they suddenly tell me it wasn't in there? How would I get cleared? and worse they would want me to pay for it! They have no respect whatsoever! They should've waited for me to clean out my locker myself and turn in those stuff myself right?! and this is what got me pissed big time, when I asked the HR where my things were ( I had a trench coat, my mug, and some other stuff in there) she didn't have a clue!!!! She told me she would give me a call about my things. I was so pissed, she got a mouthful from me. I know I was bad but then they deserved it and I don't regret what I did. (If you want to know what call center that was, post a comment or email me.) No wonder a lot of their agents are leaving. Almost all of my batchmates from training left already. That's why they keep posting job vacancies at jobstreet and jobsdb. I totally hate myself for even applying in that company. For being stupid thinking that the program would be directly under MCI. >:(

Back to blogging...
I'm back! I got busy with job applications and interviews these past two weeks. Hay, I hope the final interview for the job that I want would go well. I've met the company president and the Chairman already and things went well naman. They were pretty cool actually. I guess ganon ang mga jamaican-americans. I will have a final interview this week, but they already gave me a list of requirments to submit. When I looked closely dun sa sheet of paper, may nakalagay na photocopy of passport (for Team Leaders, Supervisors, and management only). I was giddy, now at least I would have the chance to go abroad kahit na for training purposes. hehehe! babaw ko ba? di pa kasi ako nakakalabas ng bansa. mwehehe. Akala ko nung una joke joke lang nung operations manager yung tungkol sa training abroad. di pala. I guess it's because bago pa lang sila dito and the american partners want the pioneer employees to be trained abroad. naku sana nga.
Hay, I hope this job goes well for me. Last December kasi, I resigned from a high paying job at a call center in Makati. The job was easy actually, kind of fun also. The pay was great! But the management was hell. The last straw was when they did not approve the 2 days leave that I was requesting before our wedding. Kasi daw wala pa akong leave credits. Huwaaat?!?!?!
Hay the life of a call center agent. A lot of people think it's a no-brainer job, but it is not! Talking to american people isn't easy, especially dealing with their complaints and issues. You get cussed at, called a lot of names and shouted at a number of times. The work schedule is also hard. That's why I get irritated sometimes when some of my friends tell me that working in a call center isn't really a job. What the hell do they know about being in a call center?! It's a job in every sense of the word and it's not an easy job but equally fulfilling, especially the salary hehehe!
Anyways, enough ranting, this new job that I applied for is also a call center. It's a new call center at ortigas and so far they're considering me for a supervisory position. The management has been great. I've been interviewd by no less than the company president himself and it was a lot of fun. I hope I get in. =)

Today's Ivor's Birthday!
Ivor’s my brother. He was born 3 years after me. This brother of mine is soo cool! He’s a certified fashion addict! He’s the one I’d always ask for fashion advice. Nah, he’s not gay. He just has this keen eye on good fashion buys. =) He also loves to cook and can whip up his own dishes na super sarap naman talaga! Hubby loves the dishes he cooks and could eat them as fast as my brother cooks them hehehe!
He used to be big (read: overweight) and we see him as a big guy with a big big heart. Well, he’s not so big anymore thanks to diet and a lot of self discipline, but he still has a big heart. Oh and did I mention that he’s also a great singer and guitarist? He was so wonderful during our wedding! A lot of people were surprised with his singing prowess! And he composes his own songs too! Yup I was soo touched when he sang a song that he composed solely for our wedding. Ivor also loves to draw. Back when he was still in school, he would often doodle cartoons on his drawing pad when he’s bored with his teacher hehehe! My brother is so talented, I wonder if I left all those talents inside my mom’s belly when I came out? Hmmm… ;-)!
He’s a cool brother. Always there for me whenever I need him. We may get into spats sometimes but we always sort things out. My brother’s a generous person with a big big heart and I terribly miss him.
‘vor, just want you to know that I love you bro and that I’ll always be here for you. Happy birthday and I wish you more birthdays, more blessings, good health and lots of lovin’! Mwah!
